This page is owned by the Friends of North Stanly Trails and Parks. The Friends maintain trails in the Misenheimer, New London, and Richfield areas and also promote area parks. The Falcon Trail is a natural and mostly wooded trail that is 2.72 miles long and runs from Misenheimer to Richfield Park (102 acres).

We are having a 10-year anniversary celebration for the Falcon Trail on October 24, 2026. We have attached a flyer and because we are going to put this up every few day to remind you of our event, we are attaching a couple of new photos from our photographer Gary Weart. Gary sees what we can't. The photos capture our trail in different seasons and weather. Enjoy.

What a beautiful day for a walk on the Falcon Trail! My pictures don't hold a candle to those of the esteemed Gary R. Weart. I don't take my glasses with me when I walk, so I can't tell if the pictures are blurry or if it's just me until I get home. Turns out it's both! Haha!
