Richfield Springs Community Center

Richfield Springs Community Center In 1999, a concerned group of Richfield Spring's parents founded the non-profit Zone Youth Center to address challenges facing the children of the community.

Their goal was and still is to establish a positive environment where the youth of Richfield Springs can thrive. "The Zone" moved from rental facility to rental facility until it was decided to work toward a permanent home for the organization. With much planning by the many dedicated volunteers and the generous help of the community, we have been able to construct a building on the corner of Waln

ut and Ann Street. We moved into our new facility during the summer of 2009. The Zone Youth Center now has a new, permanent home. Time brought not only growth; but, change....in regard to the expansion of our programs. The Center added a toddler Literacy Program, SOUPer Seniors, and Family Fun nights as well as sponsoring many community activities that would engage the youth and their families. It seems that our new facility is becoming a part of the community where the youth, their families, and the "community family" can come together to promote the growth of our youth by drawing them into responsible participation in our community.

Last night of our Star Wars week. We've got Ferrix Pancakes, Grogu wafers with dip, two Djarrik sets, Loth Wolf, trivia, and Sabacc. We've got The Mandalorian playing on the projector and the soundtrack for The Mandalorian and Grogu movie playing on Spotify. We've already had one first and second place trivia winners and one costume contest winner. Still one more prize to give away before the night is over.
