💗🎀 National Dolly Parton Day! 🎀💗

Friday, September 25th was National Dolly Parton Day, and we couldn’t let the day go by without celebrating our amazing staff! 🌸✨

We rolled our Dolly Cart through the school, filled with some of our staff’s favorite snacks, drinks, and a little extra appreciation! 🛒💕 Because, just like Dolly says, “It takes a lot of work to look this good!” 😉😂

Our staff works so hard every single day for our students, and we loved having a little fun while reminding them just how much they are appreciated! 💕🐯

What would a Dolly Cart be without a little sparkle, a few treats, and lots of love?! 🎀✨

🧚‍♀️✨ HERBERT MILLS HOMECOMING PARADE 2026! ✨🧚‍♂️

What an AMAZING day at Herbert Mills Elementary! 💜💛

This year’s theme was MYTHS & LEGENDS and we chose MYTHICAL CREATURES, and our HMSE family truly brought the magic to life! 🐉🦄🧚‍♀️🧜‍♀️🌿

A HUGE shoutout to all of our teachers, students, and families who came out to walk with us, dress up, decorate, and help make this year’s Homecoming Parade so special! It was so much fun seeing everyone’s creativity and school spirit come together. 💜💛

And we can’t forget a BIG THANK YOU to all of the families and staff members who donated candy! 🍬🍭 Your generosity helped make the parade extra sweet for our students!

We are so thankful for our incredible Herbert Mills community. It takes ALL of us to make these memories, and we couldn’t have done it without you! 🐯💜💛

GO TIGERS! 🐯✨

Mrs. Forino’s 2nd grade class put their creativity to work in the class room & the Innovation Lab with Mrs. Mooney! Students used the Design Cycle to design and create their very own goat horns as they learned about fauns—mythical creatures that are half goat and half human and are said to live in enchanted forests. 🌲✨

The students designed their horns with the goal of helping fauns blend in and hide among the forest. They proudly wore their creations at school today, and some even took their horns along for our Homecoming Parade! 🐐🌳💜💛

What a fun way to combine creativity, problem-solving, and a little bit of mythical magic! ✨

👯‍♀️💜💛 TWIN DAY at Herbert Mills! 💛💜👯‍♂️

Today was all about finding your twin! From matching outfits to twinning with friends, our Tigers definitely brought the fun! 🐯✨

We loved seeing our students and staff get into the spirit and show off their best twin looks! 👯‍♀️👯‍♂️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated and helped make today another fun day at Mills! 💜💛

Because everything is better with a twin! 🥰👯‍♀️
