On Saturday, SIZ SororZ gathered at Wolfe Park to walk together, show our Zeta spirit, and support a great cause! We were proud to have reached our chapter fundraising goal while supporting Zeta’s national fundraising efforts and the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to provide care for children battling cancer and other serious diseases. 💙

For black and brown communities especially, the fight is even harder - resources and research haven’t always represented us. But Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is working to change that.

Today, Sigma Iota Zeta supported Mid-Ohio Market at HEART, a choice-based food market that provides neighbors with access to food while allowing them to select items that best meet their household needs.

During the volunteer shift, service included welcoming shoppers, explaining the market process, helping maintain directional flow, as well as stocking and facing shelves.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support HEART and its continued work in our local community. 💙🤍

Nationwide the American Red Cross needs approximately 14,000 units of blood. Here in Central Ohio, hospitals and regional networks draw hundreds of units of blood daily to assist and support hospital and trauma patients.

This past Saturday Sigma Iota Zeta and the men of Alpha Phi Alpha poured their support to increase Franklin Counties count of units of blood through the Fall All in the Family Alpha-Zeta blood drive.

Sorors, men of Alpha Phi Alpha, and the community came together to secure 64 units of blood, nearly reaching their goal of 70. Together with your support, we can continue to increase this number and save a life.
