For our 4th annual trip to the Maryland Horse Library, our Schuster riders had an exciting creative writing lesson from Anne Hambleton, former amateur steeplechase jockey, event rider, and author of Raja, Story of a Racehorse. Our students enjoyed narration from her book paired with videos of races from Pimlico, the Legacy Chase and the Maryland Hunt Cup, so now these young riders are poised to join the ranks of illustrious Maryland equestrians!

All of this excitement leads up to the annual showcase of the state’s top Thoroughbreds at the Maryland Million on Oct 24. Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets to win a John Deere Gator to benefit our program and our hosts at the Maryland Horse Foundation! (Link in bio or at our website)
