🚨 Kitten Season Is Here… and We Need Your Help 🚨

Every spring and summer, the flood of kittens begins — and this year has already brought us bottle babies needing round-the-clock feedings, pregnant mommas searching for safety, medically fragile kittens fighting to survive, and tiny lives at risk outside with nowhere else to go.

Our rescue is doing everything we can to say “yes” to the cats that need us most, but kitten season stretches every resource we have. Formula, medical care, emergency supplies, spay/neuter, medications, heating pads, food, and litter add up quickly — especially for the tiniest and sickest babies.

BRATTON AVE update

Pets Comes First has worked diligently for the care of the fire cats. Today, all 6 cats at their shelter were seen at the vet and sterilized. Many medicated and treated, but all on the road to recovery! Thank you Deb, Ally, Deana and Corielle for the dedication!

Crates:
-Wally (big black Walmart greeter) and Bo (adult Siamese) will be available with them when they’re healed
-Crinkle, Ears, TicTac and Lil Mama all are TNR (the r is relocate, then release and are arranged!)

-W***y (ch wobble kitty) is still with us at ROFF getting recovery needs and to be neutered

-Puurrrstephanie was a 6mo that was pregnant at spay—now will never suffer the life of fighting for herself and her babies. She will be available for adoption through PCF

-There are 2 adults left on sight, Toes and Koolaid Man that we are coming back for (no cat left behind!)

We cannot thank our community enough for stepping up to help with this tragedy. We had the pleasure of meeting Brandy’s mom who came to check on “Brandy’s babies.” She was smitten to hear they were being treated, housed and secured for a safe and healthy future.

BRATTON AVE
We just wanted to make a statement of gratitude to Pets Comes First (PCF—Deb, Ally, Deana and Corielle) for partnering with us to ensure these babies safety after this crisis unfolded.

Our volunteers, along with PCF volunteers and staff, have been working tirelessly feeding, securing and now trapping the displaced cats. We currently secured 7 cats and have about 7 more to go.

PCF has 5/7 cats in their care—getting rehydrated, wound treatment, burn care and antibiotics (along with love and care!) ROFF is helping the other 2 in the same fashion.

What do we need?
-donations to PCF for their medical needs
-donations for TNR vouchers (to ROFF or PCF—specify Bratton Ave cats when purchasing)
-a few cats may be able to be domesticated after getting fixed—reach out to us if you’re interested in getting an INSIDE cat
-wet food/dry food donations for on site survivors
-if you have land for an outside cat, please reach out to us! We have about 5 we need to re-locate to a stable structure (farm or house off the roads)

FOUND CAT: This kitty is on N Pine Street in Lewistown. Made its way to get some love and attention! Young and has trimmed nails.
