Starting the school year on the right foot—literally! 🎒👟

Officers from the Redlands Police Department teamed up with our local Target for a heartwarming surprise, stepping in to make sure a young student in need had brand-new shoes just in time for the first day of class.

Community Policing is about so much more than safety; it’s about showing up for one another, building trust, and wrapping our kids in support so they can walk into their classrooms with confidence and pride.

A huge thank you to our Partner Josh at Target and our dedicated officers for proving that small moments of kindness can leave a lifelong footprint.

“True generosity isn’t just about handing someone a pair of shoes; it’s about lifting them up so high that they can finally see the path to their own potential.”

This past week, the Redlands Police Officers Foundation had the honor of presenting to the RedlandsSunriseRotary about the Foundation’s mission and the positive impact it continues to make throughout our community.

Foundation President Jeff Frisch and Secretary Eric Strobaugh highlighted the Foundation’s work supporting the families of fallen officers, supporting our local youth and hosting community events like Boards & Badges and Bats & Badges, as well as supporting  and partnering with numerous local nonprofits through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer service.

We are grateful to the Redlands Sunrise Rotary for the opportunity to share our story and for their continued commitment to making Redlands a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Together, we are supporting our heroes and strengthening our community. 💙

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the students and families from the Made to Marvel Homeschool Co-op to the Redlands Police Department for a behind the scenes station tour!

The group had the opportunity to learn about several specialized units within our department through hands on demonstrations and presentations from:
👮‍♂️ SWAT Officer James Ragan
🐕 K-9 Officer Shahabi and K-9 Jake
🔬 Forensic Specialist Ruth Parent

From tactical operations and K-9 demonstrations to crime scene investigations, students got an up close look at the many ways our officers and professional staff serve the Redlands community every day.

We love opportunities like this to connect with our community, answer questions, and inspire the next generation. We hope to see you again

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July🇺🇸

Today, we proudly celebrate 250 years of American independence a milestone that honors the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit that have shaped our nation since 1776.

As families and friends gather across our community, we are reminded that the freedoms we enjoy were earned through the dedication of generations of Americans who answered the call to serve.

While many are enjoying barbecues, parades, and fireworks, police officers, dispatchers and support staff are working to keep our communities safe. We are grateful for their commitment and for the support of their families.

As you celebrate, please:
🇺🇸 Drive responsibly and never drink and drive.
🇺🇸 Be patient on the roads and watch for pedestrians.
🇺🇸 Celebrate safely and follow local fireworks laws.
🇺🇸 Take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we share and the sacrifices made to protect them.

Happy Independence Day, and here’s to 250 years of freedom, unity, and the American spirit.

🇺🇸 God Bless America! 🇺🇸
