With our Summer Court of Honor at this Wednesday meeting we revisit our Scout Rank journey

🌟 ROAD TO EAGLE: STAR RANK! 🦅

Another major milestone on the journey to Eagle! Earning the Scouts BSA Star Rank is more than checking off requirements—it represents growing leadership, service, character, and commitment.

⭐ What does the Star insignia mean?
The five-pointed star represents the Scout’s continued growth and advancement toward becoming a leader who lives the Scout Oath and Scout Law. The Star Rank insignia is worn on the left pocket of the Scout uniform.

📋 A few Star Rank requirements include:
• Be active in your troop for at least 4 months as a First Class Scout
• Demonstrate Scout Spirit by living the Scout Oath and Scout Law
• Earn 6 merit badges, including at least 4 from the Eagle-required list
• Complete 6 hours of service through approved service projects
• Serve in an approved leadership position for 4 months
• Complete a Scoutmaster conference and Star Rank Board of Review

Star is an important step—but the journey doesn't stop here. Keep learning. Keep serving. Keep leading. Keep moving forward on the Road to Eagle!

Last night your "MIGHTY" Troop 11 just wrapped thier annual planning meeting, and we’re excited for what’s ahead! From camping and service projects to new challenges, Several Merit badges and unforgettable adventures Rafting, Blue Angels, Rock climbing and so much MORE!!!, 2027 is shaping up to be an incredible year for Troop 11!

We’re ready to make memories, build leadership, and live the Scout Oath and Law along the way. Bring on 2027! 🚀🏕️

Last night's weekly Wednesday Troop 11 meeting was the start of the Personal Fitness Merit Badge!

Our Scouts are taking another important step toward the rank of Eagle by starting the Personal Fitness Merit Badge!

This badge challenges Scouts to build healthy habits, set fitness goals, and demonstrate commitment and perseverance. Personal Fitness is one of the required merit badges for Eagle Scout, making it an important part of the journey to Scouting’s highest rank.

Keep pushing, Scouts—one requirement, one goal, and one step closer to Eagle! 🦅💪

Another great Wednesday night with Troop 11! 👏

The Thunderbird Patrol put in great work before the meeting on rank advancement as they continue preparing for this month's Court of Honor.

Then the troop focused on bike safety, learning the fundamentals of safe riding and bicycle maintenance. Scouts interested in earning the Cycling Merit Badge got a strong start toward the badge while building skills they'll use on future rides and adventures.

Great job to everyone who came out and continues to live the Scout Oath and Law. On to the next adventure!

Last night weekly Wednesday MIGHTY Troop 11 meeting took us beyond our usual meet location and onto one of our beautiful local hiking trails! Hills Trailhead, it was a family affair!!!🥾🌲

Several Scouts are making progress toward their Hiking Merit Badge while enjoying the great outdoors, building endurance, practicing trail skills, and taking time to appreciate nature. There's no better classroom than the outdoors!

Adventure, learning, and leadership—just another great night with Troop 11! ⚜️

Summer camp may be behind us, but the adventure keeps going! 🏕️

Now it's time to celebrate our Scouts' achievements at our upcoming Court of Honor next month and start planning another amazing year at our Annual Troop Planning Meeting. Last night's meeting was all about fun, with games of co****le and football bringing everyone together.

We can't wait to see everyone at our next weekly meeting. The best is yet to come! ⚜️

From the early morning churros being made by the bay to the fierce Dutch oven cook-off for the coveted Golden Spoon, CFI was packed with fun, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.
