🐍⚾ REDDING RATTLERS FALL 2026 TRYOUTS ⚾🐍
We’re excited to announce Fall 2026 Rattlers Baseball tryouts for 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, and 13U players.
At Rattlers Baseball, we’re committed to building more than individual teams—we’re building an organization from the ground up. Our goal is to develop some of the best baseball players in the North State by creating a culture that values development, competition, character, and teamwork throughout every age division.
One thing that makes the Rattlers unique is that our coaches work together across multiple age groups. Rather than focusing solely on one team, we invest throughout the organization to help players continue developing as they grow.
Over the past year, we’ve been fortunate to have outstanding baseball minds investing in our players. Former Los Angeles Dodger Kevin Gross, who threw a no-hitter in 1992, has dedicated countless hours helping players develop sound pitching mechanics, hitting approaches, and a deeper understanding of the game.
Alongside him, Benji Edwardson, Josh Baas, Jake Baldwin, Derek Smith, Joe Padilla, and many other dedicated coaches continue to pour into players throughout the organization. Several of our coaches have college and professional baseball experience and share a passion for helping young athletes reach their potential.

As we prepare for the fall season, we’re holding tryouts now because players are coming directly out of their spring and summer seasons. This gives athletes an opportunity to showcase their skills while they’re still game-ready and allows us time to build rosters, order uniforms, secure tournaments, and prepare for an outstanding fall season.
⚾ Some divisions may be multi-sport accommodating
⚾ Some divisions may be baseball-focused for players seeking additional competition and development
We believe there’s room for both. If you want more baseball, we’ll help provide opportunities to grow. If you’re balancing multiple sports, we understand that too.
📅 Tryout Dates: June 10 & June 17
🕠 Time: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
📍 Location: Pawtucket Field - Redding Sports Park
📣 Coaches & Assistant Coaches Needed
Available in select divisions. If you’re interested in helping develop young athletes or potentially leading a team, we’d love to talk.
If a division fills, additional teams may be considered based on player participation and coaching availability.
