🧡 Jacqueline Kocer, Ph.D., a 2021–22 American Dissertation Fellow, is expanding Indigenous leadership in archaeology and creating pathways for young Indigenous women in research.

AAUW condemns the Supreme Court’s decision in Louisiana v. Callais — a ruling that undermines fair representation and weakens protections against the dilution of Black voting power.
As our CEO Gloria L. Blackwell emphasizes, when communities are shut out of the democratic process, women and families lose ground on the issues that matter most — from public education to equal pay to civil rights protections.
