Recently, we had the joy of welcoming back Anthony, who volunteered in our Pantry as part of a day of service through his company, Kipu Health. 🙌
Anthony’s connection to Lunch Break goes back much further. 😌
Years ago, Anthony was one of the first students from Red Bank Charter School to complete an internship at Lunch Break. Today, he returned to the very place where he began his journey of service, this time as a professional giving back to the community. 🙏🏽
During his visit, Anthony shared how amazed he was to see how much Lunch Break has grown, from the additions to our building to the many programs and services now available to our community. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Each year, Red Bank Charter School students have the opportunity to intern at Lunch Break, gaining hands-on experience while learning what it means to serve others. At the end of their internships, students share their experiences through presentations attended by their classmates, teachers and families. These presentations are a wonderful celebration of their work and a reminder of just how meaningful these experiences can be.
Today, Anthony’s return is a beautiful example of that impact coming full circle.
