Hemlock Beach Association Hemlock Beach Association was organized in 1962 to promote the residential interests of those living around Carpenter, Hemlock and Long lakes.

Hemlock Beach Association (HBA) was organized in 1962 to promote the residential interests of those living around Carpenter, Hemlock and Long lakes. HBA has two meetings a year at Kimball Camp. Some of the goals HBA strives to achieve are: Keeping the members informed of issues that impact them, stocking the lakes with fish,, water quality testing, E-mail notification of power outages/high water levels/high wind damage, providing a dumpster day, scheduling an annual lake cleanup and subscriptions to the quarterly Riparian Magazine.

Cooler weather brings cooler water temperatures, creating a beautiful fog that rises above Carpenter and Hemlock lakes. Thereā€™s something so peaceful and magical about these early fall mornings at the lake. Thanks for this cool video Maury!

Monday morning is looking like prime house-burping weather across Michigan! It may be a little TOO refreshing first thing, especially across northern Michigan and the U.P., but give it until late morning and OPEN. THOSE. WINDOWS.
