Lower Heidelberg Dog Park

Lower Heidelberg Dog Park Lower Heidelberg Township’s Park & Recreation Department is excited to announce that we are actively building a dog park for our residents to enjoy!

Coming in Spring 2016:

The Township’s Park & Recreation Department, along with community volunteers, is currently building a dog park for township residents to enjoy. The dog park will be located next to the township building. It will be fenced-in and off-leash so your dogs can run and play freely under your supervision. There will be two separate, fenced-in areas: one for smaller and timid dogs,

one for larger dogs. The park will also feature agility equipments for the dogs to enjoy. The dog park will be a free service available to all residents of Lower Heidelberg Township who complete the necessary requirements to gain access. The gate to the park will function on a key fob system. If interested in obtaining a key fob to access the park, the following requirements must be met:

• Proof of residence within Lower Heidelberg Township
• Proof of current vaccinations for all dogs in household that will be using the park
• Proof of county license for dog(s)
• Completion of one Orientation session held by the Township
• Signed application and liability waiver on file with the Township

More information to follow. Please contact the Township's Park and Recreation Department with questions.
