Today, on Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate you—your strength, your authenticity, your resilience, and your joy.
Visibility matters.
It matters because for so long, many in the transgender and non-binary community have been made to feel invisible, unheard, or unsafe. Today is about changing that—about lifting up voices, honoring lived experiences, and affirming that you belong exactly as you are.
But visibility is more than being seen—it’s about being supported.
At Reading Pride, we are committed to creating spaces where you can show up fully and be embraced by community. Whether through events like Community Voices or simply reaching out, please know: you are not alone, and you are always welcome here.
We also recognize that visibility can be complicated—especially in a time when transgender rights continue to be challenged. That’s why today is not only a celebration, but also a call to action.
Stand with the trans community.
Listen. Learn. Speak up.
And most importantly—keep showing up.
Because when we show up for each other, we create a world where everyone can live openly, authentically, and safely.
