Shout out to two of our FFA members, Ella Hoeltzel & Lila Sullivan, who are serving at Ag Ambassadors for Riley County Farm Bureau!

🍉 A big shoutout to our 2026–27 Ag Ambassadors for jumping in to help board members with last night’s Watermelon Giveaway (watermelon provided by Andrea DeJesus at A & H Farm)! We loved seeing everyone brave the heat for a sweet summer treat. Pictured left to right: a hungry Petal Pull participant, Board Member Bret Henderson, Landon Kerr – MHS, Lila Sullivan – BVHS, Lauren Kaupp – MHS, Ella Hoeltzel – BVHS, and Sarah Wendland – RCHS.

🍦 The fun continues tonight! Come see us for refreshing, delicious ice cream starting around 6:30 p.m. Beat the heat, bring a friend, and don’t miss out!

It’s county fair time!

Wishing the best of luck to all of our Blue Valley FFA members exhibiting at the Clay, Riley, and Pottawatomie County Fairs! From livestock projects to indoor exhibits, we’re excited to see the hard work, dedication, and passion our members have put into preparing for fair season.

If you find yourself at one of the fairs, take a moment to stop by and check out the exhibits and cheer on our Blue Valley FFA members. We hope everyone has a fun and successful couple of weeks at the fairs!

Day 3 we wrapped up our officer retreat with breakfast made by the Blue Group, which were delicious pancakes to start the morning! We finished putting the final touches on our Program of Activities (POA) before designing this year’s FFA chapter t-shirt and officer shirts. After enjoying lunch at McAlister’s Deli, we headed home, wrapping up an incredible three days of planning, team building, and making memories.

We’re excited to put everything we’ve planned into action and can’t wait to see them all come to life this year within our chapter.
