Day 3 and also known as the final day of the 98th Kansas FFA State Convention was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable week!

We kicked off the day at Session 6 where we heard from Lukas Koch about the future of AI in agriculture and the endless possibilities ahead for our industry. We also had the honor of celebrating our three State FFA Degree recipients: Taylor Bryant, Anna Corkill, and Ella Hoeltzel. We are so proud of their hard work and accomplishments!

We then attended the 7th and final session of convention where State President Lillian Hulse gave her retiring address about choosing to serve. We also got to listen to Anna Corkill perform with the State FFA Choir, where she even had a speaking part introducing the final song, such an amazing moment to watch! The session concluded with the installation of the 2026-2027 Kansas FFA State Officer Team.

We also want to recognize our chapter delegates, Ella Hoeltzel and Tyce Hartman, for representing our chapter throughout convention.

What an incredible three days filled with memories, leadership, inspiration, and endless opportunities.

Day 2 at the Kansas FFA State Convention was packed with inspiration, fun, and unforgettable memories!

We started the day at Session 2 where we heard State Reporter Bricen Benyshek’s retiring address about finding your true north. We also celebrated our 4 SAE State and 2 National Grant recipients walk the stage and were reminded by past National Officer Luke Jennings that we are far greater than anything we pursue.

After an amazing lunch at Chili’s, we spent the afternoon bowling, playing pool, and hanging out together. Before Session 4, we were excited to listen to our very own Anna Corkill perform in the State FFA Choir!

During Session 4, State Secretary Marisa Wasinger encouraged us to live in the moment right here, right now. Keynote speaker Tanner Clark reminded us that we are enough and that each of us is “the puzzle piece this world needs to make the complete puzzle.”

We wrapped up the night at Ignite the Night with dancing, basketball, pickleball, and lots of laughs with friends. Excited to see what tomorrow brings!

Day 1 at the Kansas FFA State Convention was one to remember!

We kicked off convention at the Opportunity Fair, connecting with different businesses and learning about endless opportunities for our future. After some team bonding over lunch and mini golfing, we wrapped up the day at Opening Session. We were inspired by our State Vice President Dustin Denton’s retiring address about having the courage to risk and step outside our comfort zones.

Excited for the rest of the convention and all the memories still to come!

What an incredible evening celebrating the accomplishments of our chapter at the FFA Banquet!

A special thank you to our retiring officers for their dedication, leadership, and countless hours of service to our chapter. Congratulations to our newly elected officers, we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish in the year ahead!

Thank you Bricen Benyshek for delivering an outstanding speech and sharing words that inspired us all.

We would also like to congratulate Mr. Robert Green, our middle school and high school principal, on receiving the Honorary FFA Degree. Thank you for your continued support of agricultural education and our FFA members.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients, degree recipients, and members recognized throughout the evening. Here’s to another successful year and an exciting future ahead for our chapter!
