Oct 10, 2026 Repatriation Es**rt:
Brothers Sgt Jay Moreland and S/Sgt William Moreland, U.S. Army were KIA at Omaha Beach on D-Day, June 6th, 1944, when their landing craft struck an underwater mine. They have been identified and will be returned to their hometown of Bushong Kansas.

Timing:
12:30 - 1:00 pm: Stage motorcycles at the Funeral Home
1:00 - 1:30 pm: Stand Flagline in front of Funeral Home
Flags will already be in place.
1:30 pm: Service Begins (includes presentation by family member)
2:30 pm: Est. Departure Time for Es**rt to Bushong Cemetery
Large Bike Flags encouraged
45 minute es**rt at 30 mph
The last mile will be gravel road
If desired, riders may leave the es**rt before turning off pavement at Road 330, just South of Bushong on Road F.
3:30 pm: Est. Graveside with Military Honors Flags In-Place

We highly recommend visiting the North Lyon County Veterans Memorial in Bushong after the es**rt.
