OHH ACTION ALERT: Through our Operation Enduring Support crisis assistance program, we are assisting a young Marine who lost his spouse just days before returning from a 7 month deployment. He is a wonderful person showing great strength as he plans her funeral while grieving and processing his recent return. Her funeral is MONDAY, and he needs help.
He needs help with burial and funeral costs, lodging and travel expenses so he can focus on what no young service member should have to endure. Please consider donating and passing the word to help cover the remaining burial and funeral costs. We want him to be able to focus on what matters most. If we raise enough funds we hope to provide him with additional resources for grief counseling.
In the short time we've known him, we have developed a deep sense of awe witnessing his strength and desire to take care of details and her family. He is a remarkable person who deserves our love and support.
A board member is covering all donation fees so that 100% of what you donate to help will be used to pay the funeral home and bills directly, and if we are able, to give him additional support in counseling and travel. There may be benefits incoming, but they won't cover all his costs and it will not be available to him in time to pay for the funeral and burial.
