AZ Bull Down! 🏹

This hunt was truly a team effort, and it took an incredible group of people coming together to make it happen.

A huge thank you to and Eddy Corona for donating the tag to our hunter; B*H for their guidance, time, and transportation support in the field; Bill & Kelly for generously opening their beautiful cabin; for their financial support; and Ben Barney for sharing valuable pins, locations, and knowledge throughout the hunt.

Most importantly, thank you to our hunter, Jason, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who was injured in Afghanistan. Jason brought an incredible drive and passion for hunting to this experience. His determination, trust in the process, and willingness to put in the hard work and effort were evident from start to finish.

It was an honor to watch everyone come together to support Jason and make this opportunity a reality.

Congratulations, Jason, on an incredible Arizona bull! 🏹🇺🇸

This is what teamwork, perseverance, and the outdoor community are all about.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and donors, because of you this is a reality!

So far it has been a good hunt day, no deer harvested but seen a lot and had a few stalks. After lunch we got to see some does and fawns which we took pictures of and wished them well. Let's see how the afternoon goes, thank you to all of our donors for your support of this event!

Today, BackCountry Heroes pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage shown by first responders, service members, volunteers, and everyday Americans in the days that followed.

We will never forget the families whose lives were changed forever, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the unity that carried our country through unimaginable loss.

As an organization committed to serving veterans, first responders, and their families through the healing power of the outdoors, we carry that remembrance with us in everything we do. May we continue to honor their sacrifice through service, compassion, community, and a commitment to care for one another.

**Never Forget.** 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 A Legacy of Service 🇺🇸

Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate one of our incredible Board members and the beautiful example of service he has built for his family and community.

He has dedicated countless hours to serving his community and the B*H community, always leading with generosity, commitment, and a willingness to help. Most importantly, he has passed that same spirit of service on to his children.

Yesterday, his son proudly swore into the United States Air Force and is now on his way to boot camp.

We are especially proud because this past year, he has been an incredible part of the B*H family — volunteering at our events, stepping in wherever he was needed, and helping us make each event a success without hesitation. His willingness to serve others has been evident every step of the way.

What an incredible example of a family that understands that service is not just something you talk about — it’s something you live.

To our Board member, thank you for raising a young man with such dedication to others!

Good morning scouting this morning. We saw plenty of deer and turkeys, perfect timing for our archery hunters this weekend.

We did a little scouting this morning and saw a lot of deer. It's going to be a good season, we are looking forward to getting out archery hunters in the field this week and hopefully they have successful hunts.

Our founder has been seeing a lot of antelope and is still trying to harvest. Putting in the time and effort is what makes our team successful. Thank you to our sponsors, donors and all of you that take the time to volunteer, sign up and just be a part of our organization.
