Tomorrow we have grapes, cherries, broccoli, onions, and carrots. We also have some granola bars and bottles of juice. We look forward to seeing everyone from 10-12. We do anticipate it to be a busy weekend, which means it could be a longer than normal wait, so please plan accordingly.

This week we have oranges, lettuce, yellow squash, carrotts, bananas, grapes, white potatoes, and sweet potatoes.

We do expect a bigger crowd this weekend since we will be closed the following weekend, so please be patient with us as we work to serve everyone. We’ll see you tomorrow, 10-12.

Do you know about Really Really Free Markets? They're different than a vendor market or a flea market, because everything is (really) free. No money is exchanged and there's no bartering or trading. Everything is given away freely.

If you have stuff you'd like to give away, you can bring it. (Just make sure to take away anything that's not taken at the end of the market.) If you want or need stuff, just take it. You can offer free services too. Haircuts, guitar lessons, etc.

In the Triangle, you'll find regularly scheduled (usually monthly) Really Really Free Markets in Carrboro, Durham, Raleigh, Hillsborough and Cary.

In general:

✅ Carrboro: First Saturday of month
✅ Raleigh: Second Sunday of month
✅ Durham: Third Saturday of month
✅ Hillsborough: Third Sunday of month)
✅ Cary: Fourth Saturday of month

There are also annual free markets, held by churches and other organizations.

No frozen meat this week, but we do have eggs, corn on the cob, cucumbers, mangoes, apples, lemons, carrots, onions, sweet potatoes, and white potatoes.

The food bank did not have any frozen “whole” meat this week but did have some individual meals (pictured below). We also have some apples, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, onions, a few cabbages, heads of lettuce, some greens, and eggs.
