Today we honor the memory of Benedict A. Andrew, "Bennie", who made the ultimate sacrifice when he was KIA, along with 5 others in his crew, over the skies of Belgium on December 24th, 1944 during WWII.
Yesterday May 24th, would've been his 101st birthday.
How easy it is to forget that our comforts and freedoms came about and are kept by the courageous acts, passionate fight, and even body, breath, & soul of hundreds of thousands of men and women.

Have you noticed the change to the front of the building?
In January installed this in the freezing temps and around the snow/ice on the ground.

All proceeds from the SAL's next Ham & Oyster dinner will be going to our SAL member, Phil Jewell, to help him in his fight against cancer.
We invite you to join us for this special dinner and show support for our friend.

This dinner will be held in the pavilion.
