The train in the tree had a lot of issues last year. The track support bed was sagging, there were bad connections between certain sections, and there were frequent derailments.

We decided to gut the thing and start all over. I will try to remember to post progress pictures as we put it all together.

The first step was to remove all of the decorations, lights and foliage so we could access the track and the road bed. We have marked where each track section and so we can get it back into the same place
