**HELP US PURCHASE A REFRIGERATED TRUCK!**
For 17 years, our food bank has served families in our community with one simple goal: helping people who are hungry or just need a little extra support. Every week, we provide hundreds of food boxes to families throughout the Valley.
This photo shows the reality of how we currently rescue food every single day. We pick up donations from many stores daily, often loading vehicles to capacity to save as much food as possible before it spoils. In the Arizona heat, keeping fresh food safe during transport is becoming more and more difficult.
That’s why we are raising funds for a refrigerated truck. A refrigerated truck would allow us to safely transport produce, dairy, meat, and other perishables while rescuing even more food for families in need.
This isn’t just about a truck. It’s about:
• keeping fresh food safe in extreme heat
• reducing food waste
• making sure families receive nutritious meals they can count on
