This week, the BTC team takes a trip down memory lane as we share our favorite (and least favorite) duty stations from throughout our military journeys. We talk about the places that truly felt like home, the communities that welcomed us, and the experiences that made each location memorable. We also reflect on some of the challenges that came with certain duty stations and how those experiences shaped us as military families.

To close out the season, we’ve also got a round of “In the Box”. From finding the right fit for your family’s needs to balancing commute times, schools, amenities, and community connections, we share our thoughts and personal experiences navigating some of the biggest decisions that comes with every PCS.

Whether you’re reflecting on a favorite duty station, preparing for your next move, or looking for tips on making a new place feel like home, we hope you join us for this conclusion to our Season 6 journey.

Quantico is more than just Marine Corps country. It puts you right in the middle of everything the National Capital Region has to offer.

Jessica Rudd shares what makes Quantico such a unique duty station. Unlike more remote installations, there are countless opportunities to get off base, explore the surrounding area, and take advantage of military community resources, including events at the USO on Fort Belvoir.

Your prescription. Your options.

The TRICARE Pharmacy Program offers several ways to fill prescriptions, whether you need the convenience of home delivery, access to a local retail pharmacy, or want to use a military pharmacy.

Military pharmacies offer up to a 90-day supply of most medications at no cost, while TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery provides up to a 90-day supply of most medications with free shipping. Active duty service members pay nothing for home delivery. Network and non-network retail pharmacies are also available, with different costs and coverage requirements.

Before filling a prescription, check the TRICARE Formulary to make sure your medication is covered and compare your options.

You can also use the Express Scripts Pharmacy mobile app to request refills, track medications, compare costs, manage home delivery, and set medication reminders.
