This month, we were able to serve dozens of orphans who lost everything in the recent earthquake. Families who were displaced, grieving, and uncertain about tomorrow, now reminded that they are not alone.

This Ramadan, with your support, ERD was able to reach over 240 families, nearly 960 individuals, through food box distributions in Falls Church and Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA. Each box delivered was more than just food, it was a reminder that no one is forgotten.

Volunteers Needed – Ramadan Food Distribution

Emergency Relief and Development (ERD) is seeking volunteers to support our Ramadan food distribution for families in need.

Volunteers will help with distribution, data collection, organizing the flow, and assisting families with receiving their food boxes. Some help will also be needed moving boxes from storage to the distribution area.

Volunteers should arrive at 8:30 AM to assist with setup before distribution begins.

Emergency Relief and Development (ERD), in partnership with Penny Appeal USA, will be distributing free food boxes this Ramadan.

📍 Location: Fredericksburg Muslim Community

Please do not arrive before 9:45 AM.
Food will be distributed until supplies last.

On February 13, 2026, Emergency Relief and Development brought together volunteers and partners for our Ramadan distribution, providing food packages and clothing to families in need. This meaningful effort was generously funded by Penny Appeal USA , whose support made it possible to serve our community with care and dignity.

Together, we served over 90 families, reaching more than 360 individuals in need.

From packing to distribution, the day was filled with teamwork, gratitude, and genuine connection. Every package represented compassion and a reminder that when we come together with purpose, we can bring real relief and hope to families who need it most. We are truly grateful to everyone who made this day possible.
