New territory alert… thank you to the Eberhart family for letting us utilize your farm.

K9 Diego and Handler Devin worked on going further in distance and recall and acknowledging a find to his handler.

K9 Duke and Handler Haley worked on hitting his one mile mark for a find and working on their find indicator.

K9 Smoke and handler Kollin worked on basic obedience and recall.

The team is always looking for new territory, and personnel to hide. If you would like to see our canines in action on your land or just want one of them to find you, please reach out to the page.

We were requested to assist, and thankfully the child was located safely before arrival.

We wish the family wellness and thank you to Troop C Punxsy for their fast response to call for resourcing. We appreciate the collaboration and working alongside Troop C Punxsy.

Thanks to our mutual aid partners Rocky Grove K9 SAR who assisted in remote mapping while we were responding. We can’t do what we do without our communities and our mutual aid partners!

Last night, Elk Run Search Team 30 checked out our brand-new farmland training location. The team successfully outran the heavy thunderstorms and powered through the rain to get tracking and air-scent work done.

Thunderstorms? Outran!

🐕 Wet Dog Smell? 100% activated!

We don't wait for perfect weather because emergencies don't wait either. 🌧️🦴

🐾 Elk Run Search Team 30:
Weekly Training Update 🐾

We had multiple K9 training sessions scheduled this week, mostly because our dogs told us we need to work on our hide-and-seek skills.

This team is staying working hard and took on new challenges this week.

☕ Rise and shine! While you were hitting snooze this morning, Elk Run Search Team 30 was out getting sniff-faced. 🐕‍🦺

A huge shout-out to our dedicated handlers who operated entirely on coffee and sheer willpower, and to our four-legged partners who are just happy to be included.🐾

We are thankful to report training has continued to pay off, each K9 located their hider with their foundational skills and tools.

Status: Dogs: 100% energy.
Handlers: 40% caffeine, 60% hope.
Scent trails: Found.
