Week 3 of summer — Rainy weather didn’t stop the fun at our Pulaski Club today!

Our kids wrapped up their first-ever Club Olympics after a week of learning about new countries, music, cultures, and traditions. From chopsticks and origami to sculptures, soccer playoffs, and handmade flags representing England, Brazil, and Japan, they had a blast putting it all together.

Here are just a few photos from today, with more to come soon!

Today was a fun and exciting day at the Pulaski Club!

Our kids had a very special visit from our friends at Brindley Construction, LLC . We heard from PAC Chair Alicia Gordon, VP Jeff Brindley, CEO Ginny Wright, and our own Pulaski Club Director, Kiane Taylor, about what these renovations will mean for the future of our Club.

Our kids also enjoyed a sweet treat from Brindley Construction, and got a first glimpse at what the Pulaski Club could look like.

There is still so much work to do to make this a reality, but today was a great reminder that our Pulaski kids have people in their corner and a community that truly believes in their future. Thank you Brindley Constuction, LLC for showing up for our Pulaski Kids!

Help us celebrate our Pulaski Member of the Month, Lyric!

Lyric is 6 years old and in kindergarten at Pulaski Elementary School. She loves Chinese food, Burger King, cheetahs, and math. When she grows up, Lyric wants to be a cheerleader! At the Club, Lyric’s favorite thing to do is play with her friends. She also loves tumbling and is super flexible, bringing lots of energy, joy, and personality wherever she goes.

We’re so proud of you, Lyric!

College tours are coming up this summer!

We’re giving teens the chance to get out, visit college campuses, ask questions, and start thinking about what life after high school could look like. A limited number of spots are also open for non-Club teens who want to join us. Transportation and meals are included.

Upcoming tours:
Fisk University — June 11
Tennessee Tech University — June 15
Alabama A&M University — June 25
Motlow State Community College — TBD

Current Club members can attend for free. Each trip is limited to 15 non-member spots, with a $40 registration fee for non-members. This is a great chance for teens to see new places, learn what college can feel like, and start figuring out their next move.

Safe care starts with prepared staff.

Today at Summer Staff Training, our Pulaski Club Director, Kiane, led First Aid and CPR training for our Youth Development Professionals.

Summer brings a lot of energy, movement, and full days with our kids, and our team is getting ready for all of it. When families trust us with their children, we take that responsibility seriously.

At the Pulaski Club, kids are known, cared for, and in good hands.

We sat down with the “Welcomeness Girl Team” to talk about kindness, equality, and what it means to make everyone feel loved and included. Here’s what they had to say.
