Something New Is Taking Shape in Giles County

Join us for Chamber BASH: A New Chapter as we celebrate our business community and unveil what’s next for Giles County.

This year, we’ll introduce a new, more coordinated approach between the Giles County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Commission designed to expand our capacity, strengthen private-sector involvement, and create even more opportunity for Giles County - the Giles Partnership.

We’ll also recognize Chamber members celebrating milestone anniversaries and enjoy A Taste of Giles County, featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres and specialty bites from local restaurants, along with cocktails and specialty drinks.

This is more than our annual celebration. It’s an opportunity to be among the first to see what’s taking shape and where we’re headed next.

October 27 | 5:30 PM
The Mule Barn

This is a ticketed event. Tickets are available now!

Leadership Giles: Ag Day!

Our Leadership Giles class had a great Ag Day this month, planned and executed by the UT Extension Office! Participants got an inside look at agriculture and some of the incredible operations right here in Giles County.

The class visited the stockyard, learned about air crop dusting at the airport, and toured Flowers Creamery, Cedar Ridge Farm, and Mayfield Farms.

A big thank you to Local Farmer for providing lunch and to all of the businesses and farms who welcomed our Leadership Giles class and shared their time and knowledge!

We’re proud to give our local leaders a closer look at the agriculture that plays such an important role in our community.

Last week, our Chamber team had the opportunity to attend the Governor’s Conference for Tourism and Hospitality, where we gained valuable insights into the tourism and hospitality industry. We were able to attend the Stars of Industry Awards, which recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations for their contributions and achievements in the industry. The conference also provided us with the opportunity to network and connect with industry professionals, discuss our outdoor recreation plan, and exchange ideas for future projects and opportunities. This experience allowed us to build valuable relationships and gain inspiration for the continued growth and development of tourism in our community.
