Friends of Trestle Park Trestle Park is a universally accessible community park located in the heart of the Denton Township.

Friends of Trestle (FOTP) serves the community by hosting free music concerts at Trestle Park. Friends of Trestle Park is a community-based organization dedicated to the promotion of arts and community activities, as well as long-term stewardship of Denton Township’s Trestle Park. Friends of Trestle Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations to Friends of Trestle Park are tax-deductible

as allowed by law. Tax ID # 81-1143052

Friends of Trestle Park Board Members: President Mike Carolan`; Vice President Sharon Andre`; Treasurer Patricia Inman; Secretary Mary Michela; Trustee Jess Dowland; Interim Board Member Denise Stefanko; Interim Board Member Lindsey Hile; Emeritus Advisor Chet Schneider; Emeritus Advisor Bob Michela. Board meetings are returning to in-person and are currently held at the Deer Run Estates Clubhouse on M-55 (684 W. Houghton Lake Dr, just east of George's Barber Shop), on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, at 6:00 PM. Changes to date, time, and location will be posted on this FB page. Our meetings are open to the public ~ We want to share our ideas & hear yours, and let you get a peek at the behind-the-scenes workings of this fun and successful nonprofit organization. Let’s work together to bring fun, free, family-friendly activities to the Trestle Park District and to improve our Houghton Lake Area Community!

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers: Carolyn Van Duinen, Sarah, S K Hall, Michelle Faith Gagnier, Bob Michela, Jackie Withers, Monica Machala & Mike Carolan, who came out tonight to help “Tweak The Park” as we prepare for our first free music concert, Thursday June 25th!, 7pm. Friends of Trestle Park can’t wait to welcome you as we kick off our 2026 Music Season! We hope you can make it. Free entry for everyone as we welcome Simply in Time to the music stage.

Friends of Trestle Park had a productive Board Meeting as we plan for our upcoming concerts this summer. We are looking for a couple volunteers to work with us to "Tweak" the park to get it ready for our June 25th music concert.
