The Providence Foodbank will be open regular hours on Thursday, January 29.

Due to continued bad road conditions, the Providence Foodbank will be closed Tuesday, January 27th.
Our current plans are to reopen Thursday, January 29th regular hours, weather permitting. Stay tuned for additional updates.

The Providence Foodbank will be open this morning from 9:00-11:00. This will give our volunteers time to get home before the storm hits.

Foodbank will be closed Friday, December 26th through Monday, January 5th and will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, January 6th.

Due to some volunteers who stepped up, we will be open our regular hours on Saturday December 20th.

Our volunteers make sacrifices to serve our community.

We have an over abundance of fresh pears.

Rather than allowing them to go to waste we will give them to anyone who put them to use.

They will be available beginning Thursday at 3:00.

Walk in the door anytime during our clearly posted hours of operation and we can sign you up.

Sometimes you will see us very busy. We have clients to serve, shelves to stock, cases to organize, trucks to unload.

Sometimes you will see us sitting around the table.

You can come as often as the doors are open. You can come as often as you have time. You can help in many ways.

We have a few younger volunteers. We have a bunch of much more seasoned ones. We have some who are cheerful, some who are a bit grumpy at times.

But they are all people with a heart for our community.

Come and join us.

We will be open regular hours on Saturday December 20th.

We will open on Tuesday December 23rd.

Following that we will be closed until January 6th.

At the food bank, we are all volunteers. Some of us are rather advanced in years.

A couple of our most steadfast workers are facing medical issues that will keep them from helping for a while.

This is especially tough during the holiday season.

Quite frankly,we need some folks to step up and help. Is that you?
