Last week, the PRC members were fortunate to hear from Cindy Hancock, of Pennyrile Hospice. Much information was given on an often difficult topic. Thank you, Cindy, for your passion and compassion, and all that you do for the local area.

The next two weeks will be prep meetings for our annual Golf Scramble. Need more information or want to enter a team or donate? Drop by the Majestic House at noon on the 9th or the 16th, or email [email protected] or mail us at P O Box 585, Princeton KY 42445-0585.

This Tuesday, the PRC returns to the Majestic House at noon for the monthly business meeting. Last week, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and a meeting at the Caldwell Medical Center. Members were updated by the Interim CEO, Bruce Shepard (pictured below - thanks, PRC member Paulette Gray). Don't forget, plans are being made for our annual Golf Scramble. Mark your calendar for Friday, June 19th, and donate a hole prize, become a hole sponsor, and gather a team to play. We're anticipating beautiful weather that day!

Last week, the PRC honored three high school seniors with scholarships. Principal Tim Bush and three Career Center students who participated in the SkillsUSA competition also attended Tuesday’s meeting to be recognized with a donation made to programs at the center. The recipients of the scholarships were Lainey Beshear, Madison French, and Aliya Towns. The three students representing the CCRC were Kenan Alexander, Wyatt Suits, and Emma Ward. It is always exciting to celebrate the youth in our community and all their accomplishments.

On Tuesday, May 19th, PRC members will go to the Caldwell Medical Center during the meeting time to meet the new interim CEO and get an update on what the medical center has to offer the community. We will NOT meet at the Majestic House until the 26th.

Tad Ladd spoke last week about his local business. The PRC is happy to highlight such successful entrepreneurs and their efforts. Our county has a lot to offer!

This Tuesday, May 12th, we will be recognizing students from Caldwell County High School and the Caldwell Regional Career Center. We will celebrate Caldwell graduating senior scholarship recipients and their parents as we present three $1,000 awards to Madison French, Aliya Towns, and Lainey Beshear. We will also present a $ 2,000 check to the Caldwell Regional Career Center to support students who attend the SkillsUSA competition. CRCC Principal Tim Bush will be accepting, along with 3 seniors (Emma Ward, Kenan Alexander, and Wyatt Suits) who have been active at CRCC. Their parents have been invited as well. We are proud to honor these students and their efforts.
