Over 100 Veterans and their guests enjoyed breakfast at the Community Center in Powell compliments of FirstBank East Emory Road Branch. Thanks to Food City and Wampler's Farm Sausage for another delicious start to the weekend. To sponsor a breakfast conducted by The United Veterans Council of East Tennessee, Inc. call (865) 604-4443. There are 13 every month somewhere in East Tennessee.

Area Seniors are invited to our monthly Seniors luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 10am until 2pm. Veterans Appreciation Breakfast Saturday, Sept. 16 from 8am until 9:30 am. Come by center and pick up our monthly activities calendar. We are open Monday through Thursday from 10am until 2pm and Friday Bible Study from 1pm to 2pm.
