Who remembers our sweet, little Rose? The paint mini who had a bad reaction to a dewormer a few months ago? Remember how bad she looked? Well, our girl might have been down for a little, but don't ever count that old girl out! She has gained a lot of weight and is back to her cute, sassy self. Today, Joyce took Rose out to graze. Rose shook Joyce down for some lovies, snacks, and a few hours in the main barn. Nothing can keep our Rose down. We estimate that she is in her mid 30s, she is blind in her right eye and has a bad left knee. She just keeps showing us how big of a heart she has packed in that tiny, little body.

Our old friend, Bob, had a busy day. We are still dealing with issues on his front left foot. This morning, we put on a warm soaking boot (i.e. an empty IV bag and warm epsoms salts water) and Nina took him out to graze and stretch his legs for a bit. Later, we changed him into a sugardine packing boot and let him graze in the warm afternoon sun a little more. Time with Bob always ends with smooches 🥰🥰🥰

If you were at the Phoenixville Farmers Market this morning, you might have seen Dan and BJ
They were at the parade of rescues with our ambassadors, Tiny and Grace to share our story and our mission. The weather the perfect and the goats were, hopefully, relatively well behaved. Thanks for all who stopped by to meet us.

With great sadness and heartache, we share the news of the passing of our friend, Zeus.

Zeus came to us years ago. He was under weight and semi-feral. With time, Zeus became trusting of people and loved the special snacks that visitors brought him. He was a staple in the courtyard, a farm favorite, and he will be sorely missed.

Thank you to everyone who supported Zeus over the years. And a very special thanks to our wonderful volunteers who spent extra time spoiling our friend the last few weeks.

Godspeed, old friend.

We've had a few people ask what we planned on doing with the money that we raised from our first annual bingo. Some of the funds went to paying for hay. Another part was used to purchase this beauty! We have wanted another run-in shed for a long time and now we finally have one!! It may not seem like much, but it is huge for us. This run-in helps us have more turn out options through out the year. We can now pasture some easy keepers in the middle field. We can put the goats there or the cows. It is a big help with rotational grazing. We are so happy to have options!!!
