East Coventry PTO was able to again offer a Senior Scholarship this year. Please join us in congratulating this year's scholarship recipient, Jake Buchanan!
When asked how East Coventry Elementary School has influenced them, this student didn’t just list academic achievements or extracurricular activities. Instead, he shared a beautiful & honest story about transformation.
As Jake put it, what he found at EC wasn’t judgment; it was a safety net. He recalled a village of support in elementary school that helped develop him into a young adult ready for those next steps.
Our recipient concluded his essay with a line that struck all of us. "Altogether, East Coventry was a wonderful place that transformed me from a crying, emotional kid to one who could hold my own and more confidently explore the world around me."
It is our absolute honor to help fund the next step of that exploration.
