Anchor Village Anchor Village will provide a place where single mothers and their children can find community, support programs, and hope after seasons of hardship.

Our program will provide support for up to two years.

One week ago, we gathered to share how the Lord placed a calling on our hearts to create a place of refuge for single mothers and their children.

The outpouring of love from our community has been incredibly humbling!

Since then, we’ve received calls from a home builder wanting to help, messages from people eager to volunteer, and offers of support ranging from medical care and legal services to security wiring, counseling, design, and gardening.

This journey is opening our eyes to the beauty of what it looks like when the body of Christ comes together to meet a need.🙌🏼

We are honored, deeply grateful, and expectant that the Lord will continue to send the right people to help bring Anchor Village to life!

We may not have the land yet, but the village is already forming! A community is rising up, offering their time, talents, and resources to serve others! Glory to God!! 🤍⚓️

Mission Monday 🤍⚓️

Some of the most meaningful moments from last week’s luncheon happened after the event, in quiet conversations.

“If Anchor Village had been around during my childhood, my mom could have received not only physical support, but emotional and spiritual support, which could have changed our lives.”

“As I was putting together the list of reasons why you need me (as a future volunteer), the tears started flowing, and I realized that I am the one who needs you. This is a breakthrough for me. I know that it is a part of the healing journey, and I am incredibly grateful for it! Not only can I relate to the women you are reaching out to, but, God willing, I can be an example of what it looks like to go through it relying on God.”

Glory to God for those who are finding hope and healing in Him, and want to share it with others! God is in the redemption business and we are so thankful that He does the doing and we can trust Him with the outcomes!♥️

It’s hard to put into words how much today meant! Seeing 160 people from our community show up to our vision sharing luncheon during a work day was incredibly humbling and encouraging! God continues to provide and send soft hearts our way to help.

Today we had doctors offer to provide free medical care and lawyers offer to provide free legal help for the future mothers who live at Anchor Village. The body of Christ is being deployed to help women and children in need and it’s a beautiful thing to witness! To God be the glory! We look forward to sharing professional photos from the event in the days to come.🥰⚓️
