The District 6 Baseball Tournament is being hosted at Bennets Creek this year. Please adhere to the rules.
We do have some rules that need to be followed when attending the all star tournament Bennett's Creek Little League.
No recording devices can be hung on any fences on the complex. You may use a tripod.
~~~
NO-alcohol, to***co products, drugs. This includes e-cigs, vapes, chew, etc. You can smoke to***co products only off of the property in the designated areas.
~~~
No pets of any kind, other than clearly marked service animals as defined by the ADA (not emotional support animals) allowed at the complexes.
~~~
No harassing the league officials, including umpires, managers/coaches, tournament directors...or really, anyone. Let the managers/coaches do their jobs on the field. They all know how to protest a play and they all know what is not able to be protested (the judgement call of the umpires). Umpires are still human and mistakes can and will be made. We have a hard enough time getting anyone willing to manage/coach/umpire as it is because of the way they are treated.
Please understand that this is a zero tolerance rule. If we find out that our volunteers or umpires are being harassed or heckled, we will remove you from the complex for the remainder of the tournament. Period. Full stop. No exceptions.
Managers and coaches-Remember if you are ejected from a game, you must leave the complex and you will have a one game suspension, so you cannot come back to the complex for the next game. This also carries over. If you are ejected on the last day of the tournament and your team wins and goes to state, you are also suspended from that first state game. Let's just not chance it. Keep your cool, no matter what is happening.
~~~
Per the State Little League rules-No noisemakers allowed. If you can't make the sound with your mouth or your hands (clapping and POSITIVE cheering for the players), then it will not be allowed on the complex. This also includes walk up and warm up music. We are going to have a lot of fields running at the same time, and these things are distracting to the players on the other fields.
~~~
Please make sure your players are hydrated. This MUST begin well before they hit the field, at least the night before. It's going to be hot and every year we have at least one person who falls out. Lets try to avoid this by making sure that our players (and ourselves) are well hydrated.
~~~
Once the players hit the dug out, they are now the responsibility of the managers and coaches. Please stay away from the dug out. Only seeds, gum and drinks will be allowed inside of them, so make sure your player has eaten before coming to the field, or can wait until after their game.
~~~
Please clean up after yourselves. There isn't a reason in the world why the bleachers should have garbage on or underneath them. Let's leave the complex looking better than when we arrived, because the tournament volunteers are tired already and there are too few of us.
~~~
Thank you all. Let's make this a fun and positive experience for our athletes.
