Schedule with Intern Chaplain Chelsea before June 30!

As you may know, June is Chelsea’s final month with UUMFE as our Climate Justice Movement Chaplaincy Intern. Her grounding presence during UUMFE’s worship services, full moon gatherings, and climate grief support groups have been so nourishing for many of us. Read Chelsea’s farewell letter on the UUMFE blog: https://www.uumfe.org/a-fond-farewell-from-chelsea-mccoy/

Now is a great time to meet with her, whether you’ve scheduled a session with her previously or not. Chelsea is available to meet with people 1-on-1 and in small groups, such as a congregation’s Green Team. Head to the link in our bio to schedule with Chelsea. https://calendly.com/chelsea-uumfe/30min?month=2026-06

We hope to see you at today's Climate Grief Support Group.

UUMFE's Acting Director, Rev. Lauren Levwood, and our team of UUMFE Movement Chaplains, are working alongside UUMFE Movement Chaplain Intern Chelsea to co-facilitate a weekly drop-in Climate Grief Support Group on Fridays from 1-2pm ET/10-11am PT over Zoom.

If you are concerned about the state of our world, worry about how current events are intersecting with climate disturbance, are a parent or grandparent concerned about the coming generations, or a young adult with anxiety about the future of our living world, this Climate Grief Support Group will provide a space for you to process your experiences with others in a ritualized, trauma-informed, and mindful way. We recommend you bring a stone or similar grounding object for our time together.

Save the Date on 7/5 for“Radical Reimagining: Reclaiming the American Dream”

In acknowledgment of the United States of America's 250th birthday, join UUMFE as we honor our country's past while addressing its harm then and now in an effort to transmute our future into the loving and liberatory place we know that it can be so that we may reclaim "The American Dream". When we heal ourselves, we heal seven generations backward and forward, so please join us as we transform ourselves in order to transform the world.

The service will be via Zoom on Sunday, July 5th at 8pm ET / 5pm PT. Stay tuned for more information in upcoming emails, blog posts, and social media posts.

This Pride Month, put your values into action.

The UUSC: Unitarian Universalist Service Committee the UUA, and Trans Religious professional UUs Together (TRUUsT) are inviting people and congregations to submit public comments opposing a proposed HUD rule that would make federally funded shelters less safe for transgender, nonbinary, two-spirit, and intersex people.

Every unique comment helps build the case for protecting access to safe shelter and housing with dignity. You can also host a Coffee and Comments event with your congregation or community using the campaign's downloadable guide and resources.

Learn more about the proposed rule, why it matters, and how to participate at the link in comments.

Public comments close Monday, June 28.

UU Ministry for Earth is in prep mode for this year's General Assembly during June 14-21! We look forward to GA every year as we gather with thousands of UUs to worship, learn, and build the world we know is possible. A world where Earth care is central and justice flows like water.

We have created a workshop titled “Climate Justice Movement Chaplaincy Liturgies for this Moment." The pre-recorded version is available for GA registrants to view on demand in the EduCenter on Whova. It will also be offered via livestream during GA. We hope to connect with you!

asks us to celebrate the Earth. And we do! But we also know that celebration and grief can live in the same heart.

If you feel anxious about wildfires, heavy about floods, worried for the next generation, or just exhausted by the news... Our Climate Grief Support Group is here for you.

We gather on Zoom every Friday at 1pm eastern time. You belong in this circle. 💚

What if the path to healing the planet looked like… a bike path? On World Bicycle Day, we’re thinking about how small choices, like riding instead of driving, ripple outward. There's less noise, less carbon, and more connection to the world around us.

Pride is a celebration of love, identity, and the courage to live authentically. It’s also a reminder that the systems that harm LGBTQIA+ people are often the same ones harming the Earth. This month, we’re recommitting to a future where everyone—and every being—can thrive. Happy Pride from UU Ministry for Earth. 💚🏳️‍🌈
