Another amazing perk of belonging to the Port Orchard Library!!

Introducing: Seattle Art Museum Passes! You know you can place a Discover Pass on hold (You don’t? Visit KRL.org/BorrowMore), but now the Library also offers Seattle Art Museum passes. Up to 12 patrons may reserve a pass each day the museum is open. The pass grants free admission to two people over 15 years old, during regular museum hours. Anyone under 15 can always visit the museum for free. Reservations can be made with a library card up to 30 days in advance on a first-come, first-served basis—new dates are released daily at noon. The children’s section overflows with wonderful books! Pictures show only a small peak at what is on the shelves. From Clifford the Big Red Dog to Fancy Nancy and detective Nancy Drew to The Hardy Boys and Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree, there’s absolutely something for everyone! Loads of board books and early readers too!

There is a cabinet of treasures in the Port Orchard Friends of the Library shop. We keep our vintage and antique books in this case. This week we want to share two very special books with you!
