Today, on Women Veterans Day, we honor the trailblazing women whose courage and determination changed military history forever.

On June 12, 1948, the Women's Armed Services Integration Act granted women the right to serve as permanent members of the United States Armed Forces. Their service, sacrifice, and perseverance opened doors for generations of women who would follow in their footsteps.

At Veterans Female United, we proudly celebrate the women who answered the call before us, those who serve today, and the women veterans who continue to lead, mentor, and strengthen our communities long after their military service ends.

Their legacy lives on through every woman who wears the uniform and every veteran who continues to make a difference.
