As we prepare for the 15th Annual Harry Laws Classic, our hearts are especially heavy this year.

Mr. Harry Laws was more than the namesake of our show. He was a lifelong champion for 4-H, agriculture, and the young people of West Baton Rouge Parish. His dedication to helping youth succeed and his unwavering support of the 4-H program are the reasons this show exists today.

This year's Harry Laws Classic will not be the same without him. We will miss seeing his smile, hearing his stories, and celebrating another year with him. While we grieve his loss, we are also incredibly grateful for the legacy he leaves behind and for the Laws family, who have shared him with our 4-H family for so many years.

This November, we look forward to honoring Mr. Harry the best way we know how: by continuing to provide opportunities for young people through the show that proudly bears his name.

Thank you, Mr. Harry. Your impact on 4-H and our community will never be forgotten.
