Our hearts have been stirred with passion and love as we have witnessed the insane poverty that many of children live through in th
e streets and slums of different nations. No poverty we have seen in the abundant country of the United States compares to what is a daily reality in these third world countries. Many children are forced to go into the cities to beg at stop-lights and in high-traffic areas in order to bring in money to support their families. We are at an advantage and we have great responsibility to help those who are in such devastating need. Through this program, donors will be given the opportunity to participate in three major capacities: Sponosorship, Project Ownership, and Alive2Love Voyages. As a family, we can testify of the fruits of this program as we have had the privilege of supporting a precious girl by the name of Yone. She is now fifteen years old and she lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with her mom and brother, Gustavo. When we first met her at eleven years old, she was living in a favela, surrounded by violence and poverty. She was not receiving a good education; she had very little clothing, not to mention, any toys or pleasures to call her own. Today, she is in a good school pursuing an education; she plays the guitar and sings and is flourishing! The life of one girl has been forever changed; and we believe she is the first of many. This is a charity that people from every race, background, and social status can be involved in. There are no minimum or maximum requirements- just a NEED. When you contribute your resources, talents, and efforts, you fill a piece of the puzzle that is creating a better life for someone else. YOU can alter a future; YOU can build hope; YOU can deliver the good!
