Supporting our youth means showing up for their families, too. 💙🏡

Each week, Just Us 4 Youth’s Safe Passages team partners with Hope Esperanza to deliver needed food to local Pomona families of the youth we mentor. These deliveries help meet essential needs while creating another opportunity to check in, strengthen relationships, and stay connected beyond campus.

Consistent care builds trust. Whether we’re walking alongside a student at school or bringing food to their family’s doorstep, our message remains the same: you have a community you can count on.

Empowerment grows through connection! 💜 Safe Passages Ambassadors Karina and Annette accompanied six girls to the LA County Parks and Recreation Girls Empowerment Conference—creating opportunities to explore leadership, build positive connections, and experience support beyond campus.

Building community, one experience at a time. ⚾💙
Just Us 4 Youth’s Safe Passages program took 15 at-promise youth from Pomona to see the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Cincinnati Reds!

The game brought us together. The time spent with one another is what makes these experiences meaningful. Being alongside youth outside their everyday environments gives us opportunities to listen, learn more about them, and strengthen the relationships that support our work.

Through Positive Escapism, we’re creating access to new experiences while building connection, belonging, and hope. A trip to the ballpark becomes part of a larger commitment to showing up for our youth and expanding what they see as possible.

The game ends. The memories and relationships carry forward.
