The Point Pleasant Beach Rotary is an arm of Rotary International, and serves our local and international community in many ways, including events, education, fundraising, and support for the eradication of polio worldwide. We are 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and community leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world. Ray and Carol Boesch delivered 120 gift cards to Veterans Haven South Thursday August 27 as Rotary continues to support our retired members of the armed forces 🪖.

We had an excellent speaker Tuesday evening from Hope Sheds Light Recovery Center, an inspiring and honest talk about her struggles with addiction and eventual recovery.
Hope Sheds Light strives to celebrate those in recovery and provide peer to peer support.

Their 13th annual Hope Walk is scheduled for Saturday September 12.

A light summer turnout did not deter the membership committee from inducting a new member Tuesday evening, Daniella Bogstahl. PDG Pamela Coleman Simanski Maguire conducted. Long time members Jill Carhart and Ed DeFelice were also in attendance.

Pam was our guest speaker Tuesday evening from "Hope Sheds Light. "
With offices in Manasquan and Toms River, its mission is to raise awareness and educate individuals, families, and the community about the impact of addiction. They offer services and resources to assist in recovery and lead to positive change.
