PvilleYI Board VP Brenda Goodale snapped this picture of the team checking out the new lights after our board meeting. We are in awe of all the things God has done. It is humbling to stand in front of something so many have contributed to. Our hearts were filled with joy.
PS: These super cool lights can be changed to any color or switched to match our other outdoor lighting temp. Gonna be fun!

Vote for Nova! She has been a big comfort to Pleasantville teens on multiple occasions and we are grateful!

FRIENDS… WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We don’t post things like this often, or ever really... But today, we're making an exception for our girl Nova.

Nova has been nominated for the First Responder Paws Therapy Dog Award, a national award recognizing therapy dogs who bring comfort, calm, and healing to America’s first responders.

Nova is one of 23 incredible dogs competing for a spot in the Top 10 finalists — and we would absolutely LOVE to see our little chocolate girl make it!
If Nova wins, she and her team could receive:
$4,000 to support their work
A national feature reaching more than 100,000 people
A Top Paws Therapy Dog Award
A $1,000 donation to help train more therapy dogs for first responders
And, of course, some well-deserved recognition for the work she does every single day.

But honestly, the award isn't why we're asking.
Nova spends her days showing up for people when they need a little extra comfort. First responders. Kids. Families. Communities. Sometimes she helps simply by sitting beside someone. Sometimes it's a wagging tail. Sometimes it's that gentle little nudge that says, “Hey… you're not alone.”

And now we'd love for our community to show up for her!
Yes, it asks for an email address. That's simply to verify your vote and, according to the contest organizers, your email will not be used for any other purpose.

One vote may seem small… but a whole community behind one little chocolate Labrador? That could be HUGE. ❤️
Please vote, share this post, and help us get Nova into the Top 10!

Here’s a few memories from our 2026 Middle School Dance Night!
We have more pics to share from the disposable cameras we gave our volunteers…but they take a couple weeks to get developed these days 📸
