Our chapter is dedicated to serving the Children of Hendricks County ~ through scholarships, supporting Key Club at Plainfield high school, providing clothing and essentials to 11 area schools with our Kiwanis Comfort closets project.

Today, we had the opportunity to learn more about Damar Services and the Damar Foundation and the incredible work they do to support individuals with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral needs. 💛

We loved learning more about how Damar creates fun, engaging, and inclusive opportunities for individuals to grow, thrive, and feel valued for who they are. It’s inspiring to learn about organizations that make such a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community!

A special thank-you to our very own Jeannette Stevens for sharing her personal testimony and connection to this wonderful organization. We are so grateful she shared her story with us! 💙

Our five-minute speaker was Kimberli from The Gathering Together, who shared information about their upcoming Holiday Open House on November 21st! Be sure to mark your calendars and stop by to see all the wonderful things they have to offer. 🎄

We are thankful for opportunities like these to learn, connect, and continue serving the children and families in our community. That’s what Kiwanis is all about!
