There is still time for your family to join a SportQuest Family Vision Trip in 2027, but registration closes November 1.

On a Family Vision Trip, parents and kids live on mission together. Families join local SportQuest Partners in the work already happening in their communities, and sport creates natural opportunities to connect with children and families. Time together each day also helps families process what they are learning and connect it to their own vision, mission, and values.

In September, Rance and Jacob traveled with SportQuest Partners Mynor and Rachel to Rio Negro, a remote Indigenous village in Guatemala. They spent time with the local church, leaders, and families Mynor and Rachel serve throughout the year.

Mynor and Rachel make the journey to Rio Negro regularly. They come alongside the local church to disciple believers and invest in leaders who are serving their own community. Sport is one way they connect with children and families, while their relationships create opportunities for encouragement, discipleship, and sharing the Gospel.

Their work also includes helping local leaders develop practical skills and access resources that can strengthen families and support the community for generations to come.

For Rance and Jacob, the visit was a chance to spend time in Rio Negro and see these relationships firsthand. We are grateful for the way God is using Mynor and Rachel to equip local leaders and strengthen the church as it serves the families in its community.

Please pray for Mynor and Rachel, the local church, and the families of Rio Negro as this ministry continues.

A Family Vision Trip gives your family a week to live on mission together.

Throughout the week, parents and kids serve together. Sport opens doors with children and families in the community, and local SportQuest Partners invite your family into ministry they already lead. Families also make time to talk through what they are seeing and how it connects to their own vision, mission, and values.

What your family learns during the trip can shape how you live and serve together when you come home.

Take Your Family on a Family Vision Trip in 2027

Next summer, SportQuest will lead two Family Vision Trips designed to help families serve together and grow as a Kingdom Outpost.

Panama | June 22–29, 2027
Led by Rance and Stacy Bland

Guatemala | July 6–13, 2027
Led by Gus and Felice Hoover

Each trip gives families the opportunity to serve alongside local SportQuest Partners, use sports and games to build relationships, take part in hands-on service projects, and work through guided family vision reflection.

Families will also share daily devotionals, experience meaningful cultural moments, and learn rhythms they can carry home.

Each destination offers its own cultural experience. In Panama, families will visit the Panama Canal and Casco Antiguo, then take a canoe trip through the jungle to explore an indigenous village. In Guatemala, families will hike a volcano, discover Mayan culture, and explore the cobblestone streets of Antigua.

Ukraine, SportQuest partners with the Christian Football Club Penuel Kryvyi Rih through mentoring and ongoing support. This club recently completed another year competing in the Professional Soccer League of Ukraine. The team finished 9th out of 11 teams, but they showed strong quality in many of their games.

Their place in a professional league gives more than 300 players across 16 age groups in the Penuel system motivation to stay connected to the club. That continued connection gives founder Andrii Tripolskiy and the Penuel team space to impact lives through long term relationships and ministry.

Church remains an organic part of the club. Monday gatherings, when games do not conflict, primarily include people who came to faith through the ministries of Penuel.

One story from Coach Andrii especially encouraged us.

Two years ago, a young man named Artem came to Penuel from Pavlohrad for tryouts. He was a talented soccer player and knew about God, but he had never attended church. Soon after, his girlfriend joined him, and they began attending church while building their life together.

Through many prayers, conversations, and God’s grace, they got married this March. Recently, Artem was baptized. His baptism took place immediately after practice, and nearly all of the soccer players attended.

For Penuel, this moment reminds us that transformed lives and restored family values matter far more than soccer results. Artem is also a natural leader, and we look forward to seeing how God continues to work through him.

For years, 4MUS has used adventure, and SportQuest has used sport, to strengthen families.

Now, All4One is preparing something new to help carry that work home.

Our team recently returned from Guatemala with grateful hearts after serving alongside the communities of Barrio La Cruz and Parramos. Throughout the week, they worked alongside local families and witnessed the faithful, ongoing ministry led by SportQuest Partners Mynor and Rachel.

The greatest impact came through the relationships that grew between families. As the team served together, shared meals, and spent time in each community, they built friendships that will continue long after the trip ended.

Thank you to everyone who prepared, gave, and served to make this Vision Trip possible. We look forward to the next opportunity to serve alongside our Guatemalan partners.

Day one of sports camp on the Belgium Vision Trip is complete.

Around 40 young people joined the team in Bilzen for sports, games, character lessons, prizes, and time with caring leaders.

The 21 member team from Betenbough Homes is serving alongside SportQuest Partners Kevin and Jenni Verstraeten and the local church throughout the week. Each afternoon, they lead sports camp. Throughout the rest of the day, they help with local work projects, spend time with church families, and learn from the long term ministry taking place in Belgium.

Please pray for meaningful relationships with the young people at camp, for wisdom as the leaders serve, for strength and unity within the team, and for opportunities to clearly share the Gospel through every conversation and activity.
