The Pittsburgh Club - Nanbpwc, Inc. In September 1951, the organization affiliated withthe National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. (NANBPWC).

Organized in 1924 and affiliated with the NANBPWC in 1951, we seek to support and uplift women and businesses in the black communities of the Greater Pittsburgh area. In 1924, Mary Turner Burrell with a group of young women formed the Business and Professional Girls' Club of the Centre Avenue YWCA in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Betty Allen Graves, as president, led the organization to act on behalf of Blackwomen and the Black community as a whole in the Greater Pittsburgh community.
