Randy Satz Announces the Launch of the Satz Music Legacy Foundation to Support Young Musicians
Pittsburgh, PA – In celebration of , Randy Satz, legendary bassist and owner of HULA Bar and Grill, proudly announces the establishment of the Satz Music Legacy Foundation, this will be a new nonprofit dedicated to fostering the next generation of musicians.
The foundation will provide scholarships for music lessons and musical instruments to students aged 5 to 17 who demonstrate a passion for music but lack the resources to pursue their dreams. Inspired by the spirit of Make Music Day Pittsburgh, the initiative aims to encourage young talent and ensure music remains accessible to all.
Randy Satz, a Buffalo, NY native and seasoned musician, has spent decades performing and cultivating live music scene alongside his son, Brandon Satz, a gifted drummer who began his musical journey at just 10 years old. Together, they transformed HULA Bar and Grill into a vibrant live music venue, and now, they seek to give back to the community that has supported them.
The first set of scholarships will be awarded at Make Music Day 2026, with further details on eligibility and applications to be announced in the coming months.
