It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Treasurer and former Vice President, Ed Graf.

Ed was a pillar of the Germanic community of Pittsburgh. Proud of his German and Swiss heritage he worked tirelessly to preserve, promote and serve in any capacity he could.

His impact is seen in the Teutonia Biergarten of which he was instrumental in it's creation and some of it's murals, the subsequent Maibaum, trustee and officer at the Teutonia, Alliance membership as Treasurer and Vice President, singer with the Swiss Men's Choir, involvement in making the Swiss Nationality Room at the University of Pittsburgh a reality and much much more.

More than his contributions and service, we will miss the warm, kind and jovial man that he was to all who encountered him. The world is a better place because of him.
