As we celebrate Juneteenth I wanted to acknowledge some Notable Young Adults that we are proud of.

Alena Analeigh McQuarter is a Youth of Distinction.

Alena Analeigh McQuarter is an American student who is the youngest Black person to be accepted into medical school in the United States, and the second-youngest person to be accepted into medical school overall. She is also the youngest person ever to work as an intern at NASA.

Today, Alena Analeigh McQuarter is studying in California, where she is an in-person student at Loma Linda University Medical School. She is pursuing her Ph.D in Integrated Biological Sciences (focusing on Infection, Immunity, and Inflammation) and conducting lab research on ovarian cancer.

Alena you are awesome and keep shining. We see you!

Thank you all for your continued support! FB said y'all are supporting us. Just know that we appreciate you. We are doing administrative work, building partnerships and recruiting young adults. If you are in the Pittsburgh area and know of any young adults that are looking for summer activities send them our way.
