MONDAY REMINDER: COMMUNITY IS BUILT ONE CONNECTION AT A TIME. 👑

Every conversation matters.
Every act of service matters.
Every opportunity to encourage, support, and connect matters.

At The King’s Community Center, we believe strong communities are built when people are seen, supported, and given room to grow.

This week, look for one way to make someone’s world a little stronger.

Stronger people. Stronger communities. Brighter tomorrows.

The Journeys Awards Gala may be over, but the journey continues.

We are still celebrating an incredible evening of community, recognition, and impact.

To every honoree, sponsor, supporter, volunteer, guest, and community partner who helped make this year’s celebration possible, thank you.

The Journeys Awards Gala gave us an opportunity to pause and recognize people who are making a difference, but the mission of The King’s Community Center continues every day.

There are still families to serve.
Young people to empower.
Resources to provide.
Partnerships to build.
And lives to impact.

We are grateful for where we have been, excited about where we are going, and committed to continuing the work.

The celebration was one night.

The mission continues.

Congratulations to the 2026 Successful Journeys Gala Honorees! 👑✨

Last night, The King’s Center had the privilege of celebrating an incredible group of individuals whose commitment, service, leadership, and impact continue to make a difference in our communities.

We honor Angel Price, Artice Coleman, Kia Griffin, Monique Hinton, Deanna Siku, Doris Harvin-Taylor, Charlize Cunningham, LaTisha Humphries, Gail Roach, and Jordan Ham for the journeys they have traveled, the lives they have touched, and the examples they continue to set.

Your stories remind us that success is not simply about how far we go—it is also about how many people are inspired, empowered, and transformed along the way.

To each of our honorees: Congratulations! We celebrate you, we appreciate you, and we thank you for allowing The King’s Center to recognize your successful journey. 👑

Many have asked, “What exactly does The King’s Community Center do?” and “How are we impacting the community?”

Tomorrow, our Executive Director, Cassandra Williams, will sit down with Creative Conversations with JA to answer those questions and share more about the heart, mission, and work of The King’s Community Center.

She’ll also discuss our upcoming Successful Journeys Awards Gala, the incredible cohort being honored, and what’s ahead as we continue serving, supporting, and strengthening our community.

This is more than a conversation about an event. It’s an opportunity to hear the journey behind the work and why community impact remains at the center of everything we do.
